BY AUSTERITY OF LIFE-
WHERE MEADOWS BREATHE WITH FREESIAS AROUND
WHERE WATER FLOWS WITH A CHIMING SOUND
WHERE SOUL'S SETTLE WITH NO FELONY
WHERE GLEE FANS FOR ETERNITY
TAKE ME AWAY TO A LAND UNSEEN-
WHERE EVEN AIR HAS A RENDITION
AND NO ONE'S CLAD IN PRETENSION
WHERE EMOTIONS FLOAT EVERYWHERE
WHERE KINDNESS MAKES ROCKS DISAPPEAR
TAKE ME AWAY TO A PLACE UNFELT-
WHERE NIGHTINGALES SING OF HUMANITY ALONE
WHERE MUSIC RUNS A PERENNIAL BOURNE
WHERE STONES ARE SOFT AS COTTON BALLS
WHERE GRIEF IS CONFINED IN STRONG BUILT WALLS
TAKE ME AWAY TO A LAND OF DREAMS
TAKE ME AWAY FROM FORLORN REALITIES

amazing ...very nice imagery...you've got a gift or portraying the picture in words...very beautiful...and the backdrop goes with your poems...and its similar to my blog...so i loved it...
ReplyDeleteJust one suggestion..try not to write in caps,it takes away the flow and essence of a smooth,flowing poem...you can keep the text colour as black if you want...
just a suggestion though....good going anyways
